Meet Colton Monti
PRINCIPAL, COLTON MONTI
Colton Monti
Mr. Colton Monti has served as Principal of Selah High School since 2018. Prior to becoming Princpal, he served as the school's Athletic Director beginning in 2016. His leadership experience also includes three years as Assistant Principal at Selah Intermediate School and one year as Dean of Students at John Campbell Elementary. Before joining the Selah School District, Mr. Monti was a Health and Physical Education teacher, head boys basketball coach, and assistant tennis coach at Eisenhower High School.
A graduate of North Thurston High School in Lacey, Washington, Mr. Monti earned his bachelor's degree from Central Washington University, where he was a four-year member of the men's basketball team while preparing to become a Health and Physical Education teacher. He later earned a Master's degree in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University.
Mr. Monti and his wife, Taryn, are proud parents of three children: Brooklyn, Cooper, and Cason. Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with his family, cheering on his favorite sports teams, playing board and yard games, and exploring the outdoors.
